This is what “Xena” star Lucy Lawless looks like today

Celebrated in the 1990s Lucy Lawless, 56, achieved her greatest success with the cult series “Xena – The Warrior Princess”. The actress with New Zealand roots is still celebrated for her role today and is remembered by most people for her long brown hair and striking facial features. Fans were also later able to see the actress in some films and series. Among other things, she had guest appearances in “Two and a Half Men”, “CSI: Miami” and appears for all of three seconds in the 2002 film “Spider-Man”. Lawless couldn’t build on her great success from the 90s – could that change?

Now the 56-year-old made a surprise appearance at the Sundance Film Festival in Utah – and appears clearly changed there. Her long dark hair is a thing of the past. Instead, she now wears them shoulder-length in a light brown tone with highlights. Her visual transformation isn’t all that Lawless amazes her fans with. The “Xena” star is celebrating her debut as a director. Her documentary “Never Look Away” follows the life of CNN journalist and camerawoman Margaret Moth, ✝59, who reported on wars around the world. Lawless’ film was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize in the “World Cinema – Documentary” category, among other things, but came away empty-handed. It is not known whether the 56-year-old is working on further films – behind or in front of the camera. However, it would be another chance to make a name for yourself outside of the cult series “Xena”.

Oliver Pocher’s April Fool’s joke doesn’t go down well with everyone

Since the separation from Amira Pocher, 31, Oliver Pocher, 46, is again spending a lot of time with ex-wife Alessandra Meyer-Wölden, 41. On April 1, 2024, the comedian will also use the close connection to make an April Fool’s joke – which, however, backfires. About two photos in which Pocher acts as if his ex is pregnant by him again and lovingly holds her stomach, he writes: “Easter egg successfully hidden!”

A posting that is not well received by every fan. “You’re not kidding about that! Many people have a wish to have children that can never come true [sic]”, writes one follower, among others, while another emphasizes: “A topic that you shouldn’t joke about …” Amused voices are also mixed in among the numerous negative comments. “Yeah, yeah. April first and all that. But you had me for a few seconds,” laughs presenter Marlene Lufen, 53, for example.
