Lufthansa: tripartite agreement with Boeing and ESG

(CercleFinance.com) – Boeing announces the signing of a three-party agreement with ESG Elektroniksystem-und Logistik-GmbH and Lufthansa Technik to strengthen their joint efforts to support the new German P-8A Poseidon fleet.

The three partners now form the team responsible for the execution of the P-8A support program in Germany.

‘The three companies complement each other perfectly. This allows us to offer the best possible level of service over the entire aircraft lifecycle,” commented Michael von Puttkamer, Vice President Special Aircraft Services at Lufthansa Technik.

The first deliveries of the P-8A Poseidon to Germany are scheduled for 2024 and Boeing estimates that this program will generate some 250 jobs in the country.

‘Deployed worldwide with nearly 150 aircraft delivered or in service, and more than 450,000 accident-free flight hours, the P-8A is an indispensable tool for anti-submarine warfare, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and search and rescue operations”, assures the aircraft manufacturer.
