Luisa Neubauer kept her love life secret for a long time, now her partner is making her relationship official: the climate activist is in a relationship with moderator Louis Klamroth!

In just a month, Louis Klamroth, 33, will host the ARD talk show “Hart aber fair” instead of Frank Plasberg, 65. For this reason, the moderator has now spoken to the media magazine “DWDL” about his journalistic independence and the fine line between politics and show – and also revealed his relationship status.

When asked by DWDL how independent journalism can be combined with one’s own opinion and attitude, since Klamroth has a relationship with climate activist Luisa Neubauer, 26, the 33-year-old replies: “It is logical that with the new task more attention on my person. My private life will remain private in the future, but to go into the context of your question: Since I am with a public figure, I believe that the public has a right to know. That is why It’s important to me to be transparent at this point. Nevertheless, journalistic independence is my principle. My viewers can always rely on that.” It is the first time that the TV presenter has publicly confirmed his relationship with Neubauer, but he does not reveal any more details.

Louis Klamroth is the son of actor Peter Lohmeyer, 60, together they were in front of the camera for the films “Der Mistkerl” and “Das Wunder von Bern”. In 2015 he began studying political science at Amsterdam University College and at the London School of Economics (LSE), after which he made a name for himself with his political talk show “Klamroths Konter” and received several awards.

Luisa Neubauer is the face of the German climate protection movement and leading activist of “Fridays for Future”. In 2015 she began studying geography at the Georg-August University in Göttingen, graduating in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science and then began the master’s degree “Geography: Resource Analysis and Management”, also at the Georg-August University. She has already published several books and has received several awards for her commitment.
