Two pearls to seize: a villa in Marseille signed Gérard Martens; in Corsica, two neo-sheepfolds. And also: where do Ile-de-France residents migrate?

It summer is coming, two nature baths are looking for takers under the Mediterranean sun. In Marseille, between Périer and Roucas-Blanc, the Michaël Zingraf group is selling a peaceful Bauhaus-inspired villa for 2.550 million euros, delivered in 2018 by the architect Gérard Martens: 325 square meters of living space, a checkerboard of bay windows , six bedrooms with a view of the umbrella pines reflected in a vast infinity pool. Another dream resort, this set of two new barns with tiled roofs that Barnes is offering at 5 million euros overlooking the Corsican beaches of Palombaggia, towards Porto-Vecchio. His arguments ? A swimming pool (with jacuzzi and pool house) drowned in the middle of olive trees and 4,000 square meters of terraced maquis. And, there again, six bedrooms, open onto the turquoise or navy blue waves, and Sardinia.

This is the decline in the production of mortgage loans in 2022 (180 billion euros), destabilized by the rise in interest rates, the loss of purchasing power and the tightening of access to credit.

Ile-de-France migrations
In which geographical area do the inhabitants of Île-de-France choose to build their detached house? According to the new Domexpo barometer, carried out in partnership with the research firm Caron Marketing, nearly two-thirds of them remain loyal to their region of origin. Preferred departments? Seine-et-Marne (31%), followed by Yvelines (23%) and Essonne (20%). But more and more households are choosing to settle where land availability and prices are more accessible than in the Paris region: 38% in 2022, compared to 36% in 2021, and 29% in 2018. The main areas of attraction? Oise, Eure-et-Loir and Eure. Further afield, the Atlantic seaboard also attracts a third of these households, and the Mediterranean border attracts 10% of buyers, with Var and Hérault appearing in the top tier of the most targeted departments.
