M6 shows one of the biggest drops this Wednesday on the Paris Stock Exchange (-7.3% to 17.28 euros). An investment company belonging to the Frère family has sold all of its stake in the capital of the French audiovisual group.

Compagnie nationale à portfolio (CNP) thus sold 6.39 million M6 shares at a unit price of 16.80 euros, a discount of 9.7% compared to the last closing price of 18.60 euros.

CNP had been a shareholder of M6 since 2006.

TF1, which is to merge with M6, lost 7.6% in the same way, to 8.45 euros.
