Christina Hendricks tied the knot with her fiancé George Bianchini in a three-day wedding celebration in New Orleans.

“Mad Men” star Christina Hendricks (48) has married. On Saturday, April 20, 2024, the American actress tied the knot with her fiancé, cinematographer George Bianchini, at the historic Napoleon House in New Orleans, as People magazine reports.

Hendricks walked down the aisle over the weekend in a custom-made lace wedding dress with a high neck, long sleeves and an A-line skirt from London designer brand Katya Katya. An old-fashioned veil with a lace cap covered the actress’ red curls. The sight moved the 76 guests to tears “because it was so beautiful,” Hendricks told People.

Three day wedding celebration in the French Quarter

The three-day wedding celebration began with a cocktail party in a mini-villa on the grounds of the Soniat House, followed by a ghost tour of the French Quarter in New Orleans. Hendricks and her partner Bianchini consciously chose the city: “It just feels like our shared city,” said the “Mad Men” star.

Afterwards, in classic New Orleans tradition, the newlyweds led their guests with parasols to a jazz parade on the streets of the city before inviting them to a multi-course dinner.

The approximately 76 invited guests included “Mad Men” creator Matt Weiner (58), “Good Girls” stars Retta (54) and Mae Whitman (35) and designer Christian Siriano (38). Shirley Manson (57), a close friend of the couple and lead singer of the rock band Garbage, led the wedding ceremony.

A couple for four years

Hendricks and Bianchini met on the set of the TV series “Good Girls,” in which Hendricks starred from 2018 to 2021. The couple made their relationship public in 2020. The actress got engaged in March 2023 Instagram announced.
