Deutsche Telekom brings
at the start of the 2022/23 football season
a new streaming offer for fans of well-groomed kicking against the “leather ball”. This is the “MegaSport Option”. It combines the live sports packages from WOW (formerly Sky Ticket), DAZN and MagentaSport and thus offers a bundled offer under one roof. According to Telekom, there are also all games of the European Basketball Championship and the World Cup in Qatar. This is what the MegaSport option offers
With the “MegaSport Option” you can watch live sports from Sky with the Saturday games of the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga, the DFB Cup and the Premier League. At DAZN you can see the Friday and Sunday games of the Bundesliga, the UEFA Champions League including the conference and the European leagues LaLiga, Serie A and Ligue 1.
The package also includes the 3rd division via MagentaSport, the German ice hockey league “PENNY DEL” and the “FLYERALARM” women’s Bundesliga, as well as Formula 1, the “LIQUI MOLY Handball Bundesliga” and the NHL and beyond via “WOW Live-Sport”. beyond DAZN the NBA and NFL.
In addition, as already mentioned, the games of the European Basketball Championship and the World Cup will be added.
Price: The first 12 months 45/39 euros per month, then 48 euros per month
Deutsche Telekom does the math: The “Megasport Option” is available instead of 51.94 euros per month (if you add up the costs for the respective individual subscriptions) in an annual subscription for only 45 euros per month. Those who book by August 31, 2022 will receive an additional discount and only pay 39 euros per month.
From the 13th month you pay more for the “Megasport Option”, namely 48 euros per month.
The minimum contract term is 12 months, after which the “Megasport Option” can be canceled on a monthly basis.

How to receive sports content
In addition to the DAZN app, MagentaTV will offer the two linear TV channels DAZN1 and DAZN2 at the start of the season, which can be found via the program guide (EPG). In addition to being available via the WOW app at the start of the season, all WOW live sports channels will also be integrated into the EPG on MagentaTV devices. MagentaSport is available via app and 21 channels.
