DFB fans are calling for German classics as the new goal anthem

A few months before the home European Championship, there is an idea of hope around the German national soccer team after their success over France. To further fuel the good atmosphere, fans are fighting for a new goal anthem.
Some German football fans would prefer to celebrate national team goals “completely detached from the earth” in the future. In one Online petition Since Sunday, two and a half months before the home European Championship, signatures have been collected so that Peter Schilling’s Neue Deutsche Welle hit “Major Tom” will be played when the DFB team hits. By Monday morning, over 12,000 votes had already been collected.
The song “Kernkraft 400” by Zombie Nation is currently being played at DFB goals, which the fans decided on in a vote by the German Football Association in mid-2019.
