Make Santa Claus: 4 simple instructions

Make Santa Claus out of construction paper

You just have to smile at such a cute Santa Claus – and as a surprise, Christmas greetings are hidden in your beard if you want to use Santa Claus as a card!
You need: Craft paper in red, white, pink and beige as well as googly eyes, a pompom as a nose, craft glue, scissors, compasses, ruler and pencil.
Cut a circle out of beige paper. You will also need a smaller circle made of white paper for the bobble on the pointed cap. Use a ruler to draw a triangle on red paper and cut it out for the pointed cap. You also need a white bar for the edge of the pointed cap. Glue everything together and put pink cheeks, a pompom nose and googly eyes on Santa Claus. Finally, the beard is missing, which should serve as a folding card: Draw a large circle here too. You can get the wavy edge, for example, by placing coins on the edge as a template and going crazy over and over again. Fold the “beard” in half and copy the template for the other half and cut everything out. Glue the beard in half and finally fold down the pointed cap in the upper area – your Santa Claus is ready!

Cut out the cotton pad in a crescent shape and stick it on. There is also a small pointed hat with a white border and a pompom, a red nose and eyes.

You need: Green craft cardboard, red craft paper, cotton wool, white and red pompom, white craft paint, black felt pen, glue.
A nice handicraft idea with the little ones, because you can mess around with paint here. Use a sponge to dab your child’s hands with white craft paint (or spread some paint on a paper plate for the child to dip into). First fold the box in the middle and then the handprint follows: Make sure that your child places the handprint as high up as possible. Let the paint dry well and turn the card over. Now Santa Claus is equipped with a red hat, bobble, nose and cotton ball and at the end the mouth and eyes are painted on.

You can make four Christmas tags from a circle of red craft paper. Cut a quarter out of the circle. Also cut out a white, isosceles trapezoid from white construction paper, which will be cut in the lower area (this will later become the beard). For this you need a circle (head), mustache and a white ribbon. Roll up the quarter circle into a cone and glue the edges together, leaving an area open at the top so that you can pull through the bracket later. Glue on the beard, circle, mustache and the ribbon first in the order. Now you can paint or stick a red nose on Santa Claus and draw his face and mouth. To hang it up, knot your yarn into a loop and feed it through the tip. Now glue the last section of the cone towards the tip so that the knot disappears in the cone and holds the suspension – and your self-made Santa Claus is ready.
