In an apartment on Amraser Strasse in Innsbruck there was a brutal attack on Wednesday morning. Rescue workers found a woman with serious injuries, especially to her face, during their operation. The paramedics alerted the police to the massive wounds. “Since the woman’s partner, who was also present, could not credibly explain the origin of the injuries, according to the current state of the investigation, a violent crime can be assumed,” the police say was arrested on the spot and is currently in police custody. The woman was brought with the ambulance to the Innsbruck clinic with life-threatening injuries. Further investigations into the course of events are currently underway.
