THE Mang’Azur is a fair dedicated to Japanese culture which is coming to its sixteenth edition and takes place at the Palais Neptune in Toulon. For several years, it has also opened its doors to South Korea. It proposes to introduce everyone to these two cultures through their traditions and music, as well as their modernity, thanks to thematic activities and the presence of actors from the French and Japanese scene. This year, the show will also welcome the South Korean K-pop group LUMINOUS for an exceptional concert on Sunday April 23 at 4 p.m.!
Like every year, the festival Mang’Azur pushes the walls by offering its activities via the different poles distributed between the three floors, the outer square and the 200 m² room in the hotel Ibis Style – just in front of the Neptune Palace – which will be exclusively reserved for our virtual reality stand. With no less than twenty helmets VR, there will be something to enjoy and we will give you our full program on Wednesday which comes in another article. Otherwise, many animations, conferences, dedications, concerts, cosplays and martial arts demonstrations will be there and you can find the schedule on the dedicated page of the official website.
On Saturday evening, between 8:00 p.m. and midnight, an evening limited to 800 people will offer to attend a “100% cosplay night”. The festival Mang’Azur is part of the selections of the South Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region for the French Cosplay Cup. This competition is supervised by the association Yumeji which will set the main stage on fire! More information on dedicated page here. The association Yumeji will be present at Mang’Azur in order to organize and present the general cosplay contest which will take place on Sunday morning, April 23 at 11:00 am, on the main stage. The pass to have access to the general competition is free and limited to 800 places. It will be available on Saturday and Sunday morning, on request within the limit of stocks at the changing rooms/info point located at level zero of the festival.

The festival Mang’Azur 2022 will take place at the Palais Neptune in Toulon on April 22 and 23 and will open its doors on both days from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (entry at 9:00 a.m. for pre-orders). The Saturday night is scheduled from 8:00 p.m. to midnight. At the price level, it is very reasonable with a price of 10 € for the day, 18 € for the weekend and 5 € for the night.
