Manhunt for group – Local duo beaten up twice at night

After wild scenes in Innsbruck at night, the police are looking for clues that should lead to a violent group. Two locals were targeted twice by unknown people.

The group showed up on Wilhelm-Greil-Strasse at around 12:45 a.m. on Saturday. There, the unknown people hit a 29-year-old Austrian in the face after a previous verbal argument and during a scuffle. The staggering victim was then seriously injured by kicks to the head. A reunion with consequences. The injured person did not seek treatment for the time being. When he and his 37-year-old local companion met the perpetrators again at the main train station around 1:20 a.m., another argument broke out.
