Elementary particles succeed Manipulations

On the side of France 2, it is the new television film in two parts Les Particules élementaires, adapted from the novel by Michel Houellebecq, which will take the place of Manipulations and will thus be broadcast next Monday at 9:10 p.m.

Directed by Antoine Garceau (Ten percent) and written by Gilles Taurand (Farewell to the Queen, Repairing the Living) based on the bestseller published in 1998, Elementary Particles began in 2009, when Michel Djerzinski, a genius researcher specializing in molecular biology, mysteriously disappears in Ireland. His latest discoveries would have paved the way for a major upheaval in the history of human genetics.

Inevitably disconcerting and original in content as in form, Les Particules elementaires will also be able to count on a cast of choice to convince viewers since the brothers Michel Djerzinski and Bruno Clément will be played by Jean-Charles Clichet (Mytho, Une Belle histoire) and Guillaume Gouix (A French Affair, The Returned).

While Pascale Arbillot (Miss), Déborah François (The school of life), Michel Vuillermoz (UFO(s)), Liliane Rovère (Ten percent), Patrick Mille (They were ten), Marie Denarnaud (HPI), and Florence Coste (Here it all begins) complete the cast.
