Raised on “The Saturday Trilogy”, addicted to HBO series, sitcoms and British dramas, she follows the evolution of French series with curiosity and enthusiasm. It doesn’t matter the genre and the format, as long as the fictions think outside the box and help society tell its story.

France 2 is broadcasting two new episodes of “Manipulations” tonight, a series dealing with psychological influence in the form of a thriller. We find in the casting Marine Delterme, Marc Ruchmann, but also the actor Julien Crampon. Where have you seen it before?

In Manipulations, created by screenwriters Jeanne Le Guillou and Bruno Dega and launched on January 10 on France 2, Maud, embodied by Marine Delterme, is an accomplished woman on the professional and family level. But on the private side, she feels alone since her divorce.

When she meets Mathias (Marc Ruchmann), an attractive, seemingly ideal photographer, Maud thinks she is dreaming and finally tasting happiness. But very quickly, the latter will prove to be a narcissistic pervert, and manipulate Maud to isolate her from her loved ones.

Among them, Joseph, Maud’s son, is played by Julien Crampon. Back at his mother’s after having stopped his studies, the young man will see clearly in the game of Mathias, who tries to discredit him in the eyes of his mother by all means so that she sends him home.

An actor who may have seemed familiar to fans of Un Si Grand Soleil, since he is currently present in the daily series of France 2! He plays Tim, a hospital patient and friend of Arthur (Auguste Yvon) discovering that he has fibromyalgia.

Previously, viewers were able to see it in 2019 in another daily on TF1, Tomorrow belongs to us. The actor played Fabien, the supposed hidden son of Antoine Myriel (Frédéric Diefenthal). Revealed in the series Le HQ in 2008 on the Disney Channel, he also appeared in several series such as Caïn, Camping Paradis and Cassandre, as well as in the TV movie Crime dans le Larzac in 2021.

In the cinema, he appeared in the cast of the film I love you very much by Philippe Locquet in 2010, then in the comedy Bowling in 2012. Very active in dubbing, Julien Crampon will also be in the cast of the animated series Boule & Bill in 2022, where he will play the voice of the little boy from Jean Roba’s comic strips.

Manipulations is broadcast every Monday at 9:10 p.m. on France 2. Season 1 is available in full on the platform somersault
