Not only VW affected
Diesel cars from VW, Mercedes, Opel, BMW and Renault would be affected. The reason is the current judgment of a German court, according to which the “repair” of the software already carried out by many drivers is defective. Cars continue to emit too many pollutants. The EU Court of Justice also recently declared that exhaust gas cleaning, which switches itself off at certain temperatures (“thermo window”), can be inadmissible.
