Fans of the K-pop sensation BTS have waited in vain. The world tour, which has been paused since April 2020, has now been officially canceled.

The world tour of the successful South Korean band BTS has been on hold since April last year. Now the “Map of the Soul” tour, which would have taken the K-Pop boy group to Berlin, has been officially canceled. This sad news for all BTS fans around the globe was announced by the Big Hit Music label via a Korean platform called “Weverse”, and they too on the band’s official Twitter page released.

Planned appearances not feasible

The statement states, among other things: “Our company has worked hard on the preparations to continue BTS ” Map of the Soul ‘tour knowing that all fans have been waiting longingly for it. However, due to changed circumstances outside of it under our control, it has become difficult to perform the performances on the scale and schedule that we had previously planned. ” For these reasons, the decision was made with a heavy heart to cancel the tour completely.

Those responsible apologized with the promise to work on solutions and new dates. “As soon as possible” they want to send updates to the fans on this.
