Jay Khan and Marc Terenzi have announced the name of their group as well as the concept – it's about the boygroup attitude to life.
Marc Terenzi (42) and Jay Khan (38, "Hochexplosiv") have revealed new information about their joint project: Their new boy band will be called TEAM 5ÜNF. Almost a week ago, they revealed on their Instagram profiles that the two were planning a musical project together. Now they have announced the concept of the band: "We're re-recording the greatest boy band hits of all time – in German," said Terenzi and Khan in an Instagram video.
The musical project now also has its own Instagram account. It advertises especially with the hashtag "#ichfindboybandstoll", but otherwise makes it exciting: "We want to bring back the boy band attitude towards life", it says there. "What does that mean exactly? Stay tuned!" The remaining three members are to be announced soon.
It is obvious that the two associate good times with the boy band attitude towards life: Terenzi was a member of Natural, Khan started his career in boy band US5. Both were once discovered by the legendary and now deceased boy band manager Lou Pearlman, who also looked after * NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys.
