Germany has a new boy band: Marc Terenzi and Jay Khan announce the joint project via Instagram.

Marc Terenzi (42, "Awesome") and Jay Khan (38, "Hochexplosiv") are going new, old ways: As the two musicians announce in a video via Instagram, the two are actually forming a new boy band. "A lot of people will say we're completely stupid and crazy, but that's okay," said Khan of the decision. The other members will be introduced in the next few weeks. There is still no name for the band.

"We look forward to this new capital and take you on our journey," wrote Khan about his Insta-Post. Terenzi adds: "We are super excited about this new chapter in our life." The American Terenzi was a member of the boy band Natural until 2005 and has performed as a solo artist ever since. Born in Great Britain, Khan started his career with the boy band US5, which existed very successfully until 2009 and sold more than 12 million records.

Terenzi and Khan have been very good friends for many years and have already performed together. Both were once discovered by the legendary boy band manager Lou Pearlman (1954-2016), who also looked after * NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys. In his house in the USA, the musicians even lived together under one roof for a while.
