Monday December 4, Mariah Carey gave an interview to the magazine Peopleon occasion end of year celebrations who approach and of which she embodies the soundtrack for more than two decades. The 54-year-old singer-songwriter, who makes entire generations hum every Christmas thanks to her song All I Want for Christmas Is You returned to the success of her music used for the occasion, but also to its annual showsplanned in total in fourteen cities in the United States, and this until mid-December.
Moreover, for these event concerts, Mariah Carey will bring her 12-year-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, on stage. An idea that fills her with pride, even if she doesn’t yet know if they would like to become artists once adults. “As they grow up and decide what to do with their lives, it’s really nice for me to be able to see them perform on stage,” affirmed the singer to our Anglo-Saxon colleagues. With tenderness, the interpreter of the titles Obsessed And We Belong Together confided that she loved “watch them prepare, before performing”. “Tonight, before leaving the house, my son was practicing something he was doing for the show,” she said, admiring the efforts made by her little ones to please her fans.

A proud and protective mother
As a reminder, on November 18, Mariah Carey was on stage to sing her song Jesus Born on This Day, in the company of Monroe, dressed in an immaculate and sparkling princess dress. Mother and daughter had a microphone and stood hand in hand to sing together the lyrics of this song released in the 1990s. The artist looked at her little one with emotion and a protective air, before her little daughter went backstage to let her mother continue her show. A brief but touching moment which was immortalized and shared on the networks, to the delight of her fans and those who had not had the chance to see her in concert.
