Marie Brizard: 5.9% increase in turnover – 09/27/2022 at 09:53


(CercleFinance.com) – Marie Brizard Wine & Spirits today announces its consolidated results for the first half of 2022, approved by the Group’s Board of Directors.

Revenue amounted to €86.4 million in the 1st half of 2022, up 5.9% compared to revenue for the 1st half of 2021. This improvement is explained in particular by the recovery in activity following in particular the reopening of bars and restaurants.

Revenue for the first half of 2022 for the International cluster amounted to €46.3 million, up +9.2% at constant exchange rates compared to the first half of 2021, reflecting contrasting trends depending on the region.

The gross margin rate for the 1st half of 2022 remained stable compared to the previous year at 39.9% with a gross margin of 34.4 ME. EBITDA also increased to +7.6 ME at June 30, 2022, compared to +6.0 ME last year.

Net income Group share amounted to +2.5 ME in the first half of 2022, an improvement of +1 ME compared to June 30, 2021.

Equity attributable to the Group amounted to €178.3 million at June 30, 2022 compared to €173.6 million at December 31, 2021.

The Group maintains its cautious position for the forecasts concerning commercial activity for the end of 2022.
