Marie Nasemann: Is the Instagram pressure too heavy on your shoulders?

Marie Nasemann is considering taking a social media break. As a mother, it "feels weird" to share every intimate moment.

Marie Nasemann (31) became a mother for the first time in April 2020. Since then, she has regularly provided her fans with baby updates on her Instagram account. But now the model seems to struggle with it. "Since I've been a mother, the tool feels kind of weird," writes Nasemann in her most recent post.

"Instagram should be fun, and I've always been. But I have to admit that this is the first time I've come to a point where I'm considering taking a break." Her words are accompanied by three holiday pictures that she and her partner Sebastian Tigges show on Sylt. Although Nasemann would like to enjoy many moments with her son in private, "I find myself feeling obliged to post photos and stories with my baby when I post a lot of work".

Negative comments bother her

The young mother is also troubled by the negative comments from some users. "Comments that subconsciously make me feel guilty that I work too much, that there is too much advertising on my account and that I should take better care of my child," the 31-year-old lists. She would have a bad feeling "if someone wrote me that we would travel too much and that it would not be 'child-friendly'". After all, she wants the best for her child.

But Nasemann has no doubts about her motherhood: "When I look at him, I know that we are doing so many things right, that I don't work too much and that I am a great mother." She knows that her child is well looked after. "Almost every day, from morning to evening, both mom and dad are around."
