This Thursday, March 17, 2022, Jacques Legros granted an interview to Télé-Loisirs. During the latter, the journalist made some confidences on the return of Marie-Sophie Lacarrau to the 1 p.m. newspaper of TF1.
Since Friday December 17, 2021, Marie-Sophie Lacarrau has been absent from the air due to ophthalmological problems. Last January, it was in the columns of the Parisian that his replacement, Jacques Legros, had deplored: “All because of his lenses. I also told him that the glasses suited him very well. With the light that we take on a set, Marie-Sophie cannot return unless she is completely cured. It may take six months.“This Thursday, March 17, 2022, it is in the columns of Tele-Leisure that the journalist assured to be always in contact with her. “Of course, with Marie-Sophie Lacarrau, we communicate. I hear from him. I want her to heal, because what happened to her is something serious even if her life is not at stake“, did he declare.
Referring to what Marie-Sophie Lacarrau had told him, Jacques Legros explained: “She worries a little about us as we worry about her. I know she wants to do this journal. But it takes time. We’ll take it.“Aware that his colleague is far from being recovered from his health problems, the journalist knows that he could end the season.I will go all the way, I have always told my bosses. I will finish, I don’t know how, but I will go to the end!“, did he declare.
Marie-Sophie Lacarrau: “A rare and severe infection”
A month earlier, it was in a video shared on Instagram that the journalist had mentioned her ophthalmological problems. Facing the camera, she said: “I haven’t heard from you for a month. Your messages, your e-mails, your e-mails, are so numerous that I am addressing you today to answer you and especially to thank you for all your marks of attention and support which touch me enormously.“In complete transparency, Marie-Sophie Lacarrau had added:”So yes, I wear sunglasses, it’s to protect my eye which is still fragile. I do not want to dwell on my case, but to answer all those who question me and that you understand my absence which lasts. Know that I suffer from an eye infection, a rare and severe infection, which requires long treatment. So I am doing everything to come back as soon as possible and in the meantime, I thank TF1 for its understanding and for all the reorganization that this implies on 1 p.m.“
