Marie Trintignant would have celebrated her 60th birthday this Friday, January 21, 2022… In order to pay tribute to her, her mother, Nadine Trintignant, confided in the pages of Gala, published on January 20. The director notably gave news of the four sons of the late actress.
At the dawn of what should have been Marie Trintignant’s 60th birthday, his mother Nadine agreed to engage in the columns of Gala, on newsstands this Thursday, January 20. The actress died on August 1, 2003, following blows received by her companion, Bertrand Cantat. During the interview, the 87-year-old director notably gave news of the four sons of her late eldest daughter. “The four are broken… They are cracks that you never get rid of…”, confides Nadine Trintignant. The young men sadly lost their mother nineteen years ago when they were still children.
The two oldest, Roman and Paul, keep good memories sinceshe sent them “love of life” and “energy”, reveals the writer. Unfortunately, the two youngest, Léon and Jules, born in 1996 and 1998 respectively, did not have “time to learn a lot from her”. Today they all four have grown well and “are doing well”. Roman runs restaurants, Paul writes like his grandmother but “does not want to show (him)”, Léon also works in the restaurant industry and Jules became an actor. What good news that would undoubtedly have made Marie Trintignant very happy.

It’s on the set of the movie The Prince of the Pacific (2000), that the actress had the idea of engraving the names of her children on her skin. Nadine Trintignant’s daughter loved her sons so much that she wanted to prove them with a tattoo. “Mary had a sun made at the bottom of her stomach with four rays at the end of which are inscribed the four names of her sons”, reveals the mother of the deceased in the columns of Gala. A magnificent declaration of love to which Roman, Léon, Jules and Paul responded by getting tattooed in turn. We can thus find on their chests or their shoulders “Mum” Where “Married“. A way to pay tribute to him and keep his love with them everywhere…
