Marine Le Pen: “The tone changed suddenly between the first and second rounds”

Guest of the Morning of CNEWS this Friday, April 22, Marine Le Pen, candidate RN, deplored the atmosphere of the campaign for the second round of the presidential election.

As during her meeting in Arras on Thursday evening, Marine Le Pen declared that the tone of the debate had changed since the first round: “I note, like ten million French people, that the tone has changed suddenly between the first and the second round,” she said.

“It is therefore natural that all the media, institutions, trigger the demonization after the first round. It may be a French tradition, but I find that it is not a very democratic tradition,” she added ironically.

The candidate of the National Rally encouraged the French to look into her program. “The reality is that I have a project, it is transparent, I presented it, I designed it with the French and I presented it to everyone for several months. What I’ve been hearing about for ten days has nothing to do with my project. In reality, the description given of it does not correspond to what I wish to do”.

In conclusion to her argument, she did not forget to criticize the results of the current President of the Republic: “I call on the French to check for themselves and form an opinion by reading what I propose to do to respond to the rampage that was that of Emmanuel Macron”.
