In September, Mark Hoppus announced that he had got over cancer. Now he underwent another small operation.

The Blink 182 front man Mark Hoppus (49) had to undergo another operation after he had overcome cancer. Like the bass player and singer in the punk band first announced on his Twitter account, he was finally operated on on Thursday: His port catheter was removed. This is understood to mean permanent access to the vein, which is mainly used for chemotherapy in order to be able to administer medication better.

Mark Hoppus announced on September 29th after months of fighting cancer that he was officially cancer-free and was now in remission. He only has to go to the check-up every six months, but all treatments have been completed. Hoppus suffered from stage four, diffuse, large B-cell lymphoma. On his Instagram channel he also shared a before / after picture in his stories that showed his hand with and without port.
