Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania kicked off MCU Phase 5 on February 15. After taking fans to the Quantum Realm, what will Marvel embark us on in this 5th part? We take stock.
Released in theaters on February 15, Ant-Man 3 kicked off Phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Peyton Reed’s film took the opportunity to introduce us to the one who will be the big bad of this new stage of the MCU: Kang the Conqueror.
After this 3rd part of the adventures of Ant-Man, what are the other films that will come to decorate phase 5 of the MCU?
The next one is one of the most anticipated Marvel feature films of recent years: Guardians of the Galaxy 3. Directed by James Gunn, this 3rd episode of these space zinzins will land on May 3 at the cinema.
Our favorite band of misfits has changed a bit. Peter Quill, still mourning the loss of Gamora, must rally his team to defend the universe and protect one of his own. If unsuccessful, this mission could well mark the end of Guardians as we know them.

The small troop led by Star Lord will then give way to the superheroines of The Marvels. The Captain Marvel sequel will still be worn by Brie Larson and will be released on November 8, 2023.
If The Marvels does not yet have an official synopsis, the first images unveiled at Comic-Con in San Diego (and reserved for the only spectators present on site) showed that it would be a question of a story, not of “body swap” à la Freaky Friday, but from “place swap”.
Endowed with the same powers, Carol Danvers, Kamala Khan and Monica Rambeau exchange their respective places as soon as they use them (as announced in the post-generic scene of the finale of season 1 of Miss Marvel on Disney +). Therefore, they will have to team up to try to understand why.

On May 1, 2024, Captain America will return with Anthony Mackie replacing Chris Evans as the Vibranium Shield super-soldier. Subtitled New World Order, this film will also be worn by Harrison Ford, who will portray the bad guy Thaddeus Ross who has become President of the United States. This former US Air Force general will also have a secret identity: Red Hulk!

Then see you on July 24, 2024 with Thunderbolts. It’s about a collection of super-villains and anti-heroes from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, sent on secret missions to try to redeem themselves.
This sort of Suicide Squad Marvel sauce will be led by Florence Pugh, the new Black Widow. She will be supported by David Harbor (Red Guardian), Julia Louis-Dreyfus (Valentina Allegra de Fontaine), Hannah John-Kamen (Ghost), Wyatt Russell (John Walker), Olga Kurylenko (Taskmaster) and especially Sebastian Stan, alias Bucky Barnes , the Winter Soldier!

Note that Ghost was the main antagonist of Ant-Man and the Wasp. Red Guardian appeared in Black Widow and John Walker in the Falcon and the Winter Soldier series, as did Walentina. Harrison Ford will also star as Thaddeus Ross.
Finally, on September 4, 2024, Phase 5 of the MCU will end with Blade, led by Mahershala Ali. Directed by the frenchy Yann Demange, this feature film stamped Marvel.
