After Doctor Strange 2, the next Marvel to hit theaters will be Thor Love and Thunder, directed by Taika Waititi. The filmmaker continues to turn up the heat with a sensational statement about Christian Bale.
After the late reveal of its trailer last April, Thor Love and Thunder continues to be talked about through its director, Taika Waititi.
Asked by AP Newsthe director gave some details about the plot. “We find Thor as he is just trying to figure out his purpose, to figure out exactly who he is and why he is a hero and if he really should take on this role”he said.
“I guess you could call it a midlife crisis”specified the scenario writer, not without a point of malice.
Taika Waititi didn’t stop there! He also spoke about Christian Bale, who plays the big bad of this 4th opus: Gorr the Butcher of the Gods.

“The little band of heroes will be a lot of fun and a lot of goofy; a whole new team for Thor [Chris Hemsworth] with Korg, Valkyrie and The Mighty Thor [Natalie Portman]. And, in my humble opinion, we have probably the best villain in the Marvel Cinematic Universe with Christian Bale.”he flared up.

As a reminder, this 4th installment will see Thor embark on an unprecedented quest, that of his own serenity. But his retreat will be interrupted by the appearance of Gorr the Butcher, a galactic killer who has made it his mission to exterminate the gods.
To take on this threat, Thor will team up with Valkyrie, Korg, and his ex-girlfriend, Jane Foster, who – to his surprise – wields his hammer, Mjolnir, just as well as he does.
Our heroes will embark together on a harrowing cosmic adventure to try to identify the causes of Gorr’s relentlessness and stop him before it’s too late.
