Marvel: this actor should have replaced Mark Ruffalo in She-Hulk

According to the director of She-Hulk, the final episode of the Marvel series could have called on another Bruce Banner… we explain everything to you.

Warning, this article spoils the end of She-Hulk.

In the final episode of She-Hulk, the heroine leaves her universe to join ours, in order to report to Marvel. She then finds herself in front of KEVIN, the artificial intelligence who runs (for a fake) the House of Ideas and asks him to remove the fight scene between her and Todd and to remove from the script the appearance of her cousin Bruce Banner, who came lend him a hand.

But according to director Kat Coiro, the writers wanted to go even further by showing another Bruce Banner, camped not by Mark Ruffalo but by Edward Norton. The same one who had played the green giant in The Incredible Hulk in 2008. After the return of the Abomination / Emil Blonsky (Tim Roth), the circle would have been closed.

We were talking about the fact that the last time Hulk and The Abomination came face-to-face, the former was played by another actor. And Mark Ruffalo made a few jokes around that, so that gave us the idea of replacing him with Norton. But we ended up abandoning that idea“.

This Norton cameo would have allowed this very meta final episode to push the plug even further, which probably would not have disappointed the fans. But everything is possible in the MCU, especially since Spider-Man: No Way Home which allowed the return of the two previous incarnations of the spider-man. We therefore firmly expect a Hulk film where everyone will meet.

She-Hulk is available on Disney+.
