Definitely, when nothing goes, nothing goes. Marvel’s Avengers certainly didn’t need another controversy as he struggles to survive, especially with the arrival of the Winter Soldier next week. The team of Crystal Dynamics probably would have preferred to focus on communicating around this new content, but she had to make a decision about the old behavior of Brian Wagoner, lead designer on the game.

For a few days, offensive tweets by Waggoner have resurfaced, which he wrote before he joined Crystal Dynamics. Some date back to 2014 or even further, but many have been revived in recent days. Obviously unaware of this situation, Crystal Dynamics announced that Wagoner will no longer take the floor to speak on Marvel’s Avengers or on the studio :

We apologize to our community and colleagues who are rightly upset by the content of these messages. Brian will no longer be a spokesperson for the studio and will no longer communicate about studio projects. »
Waggoner posted a message on Twitter apologizing, saying those tweets no longer represent who he is today.
He was one of the most highlighted figures in the game, especially since that year, when he rose from the position of system designer at lead designer. He is not, however, excluded from the studio. and continues a priori his work on the game.
