Marvel’s Midnight Suns: finally Ghost Rider’s turn to unleash hell in its gameplay preview

There is now only one month left before the arrival of Marvel’s Midnight Suns on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, the other versions not being released at the same time and having no concrete release window for the moment. Inevitably, the communication around the characters that we will be able to embody is coming to an end and had moreover been interrupted in recent weeks after the videos dedicated to Nico Minoru by that of Season Pass with this dear Dead Poolwhile the animated prequel The Salem Sisters aired for Halloween. And precisely, there was mention ofa certain anti-hero well known to the general public since Nicolas Cage embodied a version of him in the cinema in the 2000s, Ghost Rider.

But no question of Johnny Blaze here. Nope, we will be entitled to the version of the character camped by Robbie Reyeswhich appeared in Marvel: Agents of SHIELD and who prefers to drive a big racing car rather than a motorcycle. Inevitably, his combat techniques are inflamed, he who uses chains to massacre his enemies. To see more, you will have to wait a few more days, since he should also be entitled to an in-depth presentation and a history of his appearances in comics.

First appearance: All-New Ghost Rider #1 (2014)

Story

Robbie Reyes grew up in East Los Angeles, in an underprivileged but vibrant neighborhood. The triumphs and challenges he has experienced have helped to give him a strong sense of priorities: family, friends and custom cars. In the “family” category, Robbie cares more than anything for his handicapped brother, Gabe, whom he partly raised, but he had to rethink his other priorities when the Spirit of Vengeance took hold of him.

Many young men have served as hosts to this infernal alter ego; Robbie is neither the first nor the last. When the Spirit takes over, Robbie transforms into Ghost Rider and becomes completely obsessed with punishing evil and bringing justice in brutal ways. The actions he commits while disguised as the Ghost Rider often cause Robbie to doubt his dark side and what it costs to be a hero. On the other hand, he never hesitates to pilot the vehicle of the Ghost Rider: a supercharged big engine which bears the evocative name of Hell Ride.

After him there will only be Hulk, whose presence within the team has leaked, unless it is not formalized by the launch of next December 2. Whether Marvel’s Midnight Suns interests you, it is available for pre-order on Amazon from €54.99.
