Although associated with one of the strongest licenses of the moment, Marvel’s Midnight Suns raised doubts about his qualities, especially following his repeated postponements. It is officially released on December 2, 2022 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, PS5 and Xbox Series X | S, so the specialized press has already been able to give its verdict on it.
Good news, Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a success for many people! It actually displays an 83/100 on Metacritic, a high mark for a genre often considered demanding. Clever mix between tactical strategy game and epic adventure RPGhe manages to excite both on the field thanks to advanced game mechanics around cards that make good use of the chosen panel of superheroes only with strong narrative sequences. Phases of enigma and exploration diversify this experience, which is often more emotional and personal than superheroic, even if some regret the repetitiveness and the catch-all aspect of the gameplayand dialogues sometimes so rich that they become boring.
