Mask stays upright – loosening in schools runs “without any problems”

Everyday school life after Easter started with further simplifications for Salzburg’s pupils. Pupils are now only entitled to one PCR test per week. There are no quick tests anymore.

“Only if there are positive cases in a class, then they are used,” says the office of regional councilor Daniela Gutschi (ÖVP). The mask, on the other hand, must continue to be worn away from the seat. Will the next relaxations follow soon? “The start after Easter went without any problems – a good sign,” they say. The incidence in schools is also falling. While this was still 1127 for five to fourteen year olds at the beginning of April, it fell to 364 over Easter. A similar picture can also be seen in the upper grades.
