Maskmaker: the title of the Innerspace VR studio finally finds its release date on Meta Quest 2

Released last year on Steam, Oculus Rift Store and Playstation Store, maskmaker is the latest game developed by the studio Innerspace VRafter the essential A Fisherman’s Tale. The port on Meta Quest 2 will have taken a little over a year and, finally, the publisher Vertigo Games just announced that the game will be released on December 15 on the hybrid headset.

The game, graphically ready for a Meta Quest 2, was originally planned to be released on this medium. Balthazar Auxietre, creative director at Innerspace VR also expressed himself on the subject:

Ever since we started working on Maskmaker, we had hoped for a Quest 2 release. We have always been convinced that this title, an adventure full of wonder and mystery, would be a perfect match for Quest 2 audiences.

For those who haven’t tried it yet, Maskmaker is an adventure game that puts us in the shoes of a mask maker who, using his creations, must solve puzzles. You have to jump from one world to another, control different characters and discover the identity of the ruler of the kingdom of masks.

maskmaker will therefore come out on Meta Quest 2 on December 15, but the price has not yet been confirmed. For the most Anglophobic among you, know that the game is entirely in French (audio/text). If the Meta Quest 2 catches your eye, know that you can afford it at the Fnac, Darty or Amazon for €449.99, and that Beat Saber and Resident Evil 4 VR are currently offered upon purchase.
