Mass Effect 5: Screenwriter Mary DeMarle (Deus Ex, Guardians of the Galaxy) arrives

We are still far from the release of the next Mass Effect, even if it began its teaser two years ago, in 2020. The development of this episode has indeed begun, but BioWare continues to welcome all the same new members, in order to offer the best possible experience to its community. And for a game of this magnitude, what’s better than a gripping story? It is in this sense that Mary DeMarle joined the studio.

Michael Gamble, project director and in particular in charge of taking care of the next Mass Effect announced, by means of a tweet, that ” Mary DeMarle joins the Mass Effect team as director of storytelling », which will therefore allow the teams to take advantage of his talent and experience to set up a story worthy of the name. The latter has, in particular, worked on the Deus Ex license, but also The Guardians of the Galaxyawarded at the Game Awards 2021 in the category of best storytelling.

Undoubtedly welcome help, since BioWare will most certainly be expected for Mass Effect 5, or whatever its name, a very popular license, especially since the company remains on a bitter failure with Anthem. On the side of the other project under development at BioWare, Dragon Age, know that we recently had an official and definitive name, namely Dreadwolf.
