Paris, July 10, 2023,
MASTRAD (FR0004155687 –ALMAS), foodtech pioneer specializing in temperature measurement, announces the merger with its subsidiary Orka, entirely focused on this new market.
The merger, which takes place by Universal Transmission of the Heritage of Orka to its parent company Mastrad, has been effective since July 1, 2023.
Mastrad will also propose to its shareholders that the group take the name of Orka, in order to clearly embody the new strategy implemented since the split (“spin-off”) of the activities at the beginning of April and the refocusing of the group on the follow-up temperature in the food industry and catering sector.
By refocusing on this profitable and fast-growing activity, MASTRAD intends to develop in a market that is essential to the entire food and catering industry chain, but also to the discerning cook, from production to cooking, including through all stages of transport and storage.
An Extraordinary General Meeting will be convened in October 2023 in order to submit the proposed name change to the vote of the shareholders.
