Just about a week after his death, Matthew Perry was buried in Los Angeles on Friday. His “Friends” colleagues also came.
Matthew Perry (54) was buried last Friday in Los Angeles surrounded by his family and friends. As the British “Mirror” reportsthe funeral took place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park near Warner Bros. Studios, with Perry’s parents and closest relatives as well as the famous “Friends” cast in attendance.
Funeral service lasted two hours
Several photos available to the paper show Jennifer Aniston (54), Lisa Kudrow (60), David Schwimmer (57), Courteney Cox (59) and Matt LeBlanc (56) arriving at the cemetery – all dressed in black. The funeral service is said to have started around 3 p.m. (local time) and lasted around two hours. Further details are not yet known.
Matthew Perry, who became famous for his “Friends” role of Chandler Bing, was found dead in a hot tub at his home in Los Angeles on October 28, according to US reports. The exact cause of death has not yet been clarified. His body was released for burial on October 30th. The actor was not married and did not have any children.
Matthew Perry Foundation begins work
During his lifetime, Perry spoke for decades about his alcohol and drug addiction and helped those affected by addiction problems. After his death, he will now live on in the Matthew Perry Foundation. According to The Hollywood Reporter wants to continue the actor’s commitment. The work has already started.
