Children on TV? Max von Thun personally doesn’t think so. He decides against a TV career for his son for the time being.

If it’s after Max von Thun (46) goes, children have no place in front of the camera. In an interview with “Bild am Sonntag”, the actor says that his own son should never be on television. He himself was never a child actor, but only decided to pursue a TV career later.

TV star has a clear opinion

“I don’t think it’s an environment that’s particularly good for children,” says the actor. The son of acting legend Friedrich von Thun (81) continues: “There are 40 grown people who do everything to keep a child happy.” In addition, Leo (10) is creative, but the star’s son doesn’t yet have a clear idea of his future. However, acting is not out of the question.

Father-son duo invent stories together

Nevertheless, father and son are already working together: after all, the ten-year-old is co-author of the children’s book “The Star Man”. Of course, Leo appears there under a synonym. The whole thing came about during the Corona period in 2020: “When many colleagues in my industry were complaining, we recorded these stories as a radio play in my home studio. We did something meaningful and were completely without pressure.”
