After a long wait, the petrol-packed “Sons of Anarchy” spin-off finally has a start date: The biker series “Mayans MC” returns to US broadcaster FX in April with season 4. The Mayans will engage in a bitter battle with the SAMCROs. The new trailer also hints at the dispute.

“Mayans MC” returns to US television in spring 2022. The new episodes will appear on April 19 on US broadcaster FX, as reported by US magazine Deadline. A day later they can be seen on the streaming service Hulu.
In Germany, based on the first three seasons, we can probably expect the broadcast on Sky Atlantic at the end of 2022 at the earliest.

The latest trailer shows you the first scenes from the new episodes of season 4. It’s obvious that everything is heading towards a gang war with the Santo Padres and no one seems safe from the chaos that is to come. EZ even smacks Bishop!
A trailer in blood-red colors and atmospheric sound already showed you what you could expect in season 4. If you believe the trailer, the Mayans and the bikers from SAMCRO from “Sons of Anarchy” get into a heated argument.
Mayan’s MC: Storyline
Not much can be said about the plot of the new season so far. Writer Elgin James told Deadline: “In Season 4, we look forward to delving deeper into the truths of each character, exploring the perils of the dangerous world they inhabit, and for each writer, cast member and crew to stake out our place as storytellers.”
Season 4 will continue to be about consequences, James told Deadline. The new episodes also deal with how things will continue for EZ and Gaby after the breakup.
The story of the two is based on the story of author Elgin James and his wife. James wants to find out how he would have fared if his wife had separated from him.
In Season 4, EZ slips more and more into darkness, although James can certainly imagine a happy ending for him. Also, Marcus Alvarez will return.
As the trailers clearly indicated, the new episodes will also see a clash between the Mayan bikers and the “Sons of Anarchy”.

Expect to see JD Pardo as Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes, Clayton Cardenas as Angel Reyes, and Ray McKinnon as Lincoln Potter.
Danny Pino should also be back as Miguel Galindo and Carla Baratta as Luisa “Adelita” Espina.
Surprisingly, the trailer also shows a new face. Andréa Cortes (“On My Block”) plays Sofia, a woman who enters EZ’s life in the upcoming season. No other details about the character are known at this time.
