The net result is a loss of -38.2 ME, compared to -23.6 ME in 2021. McPhy had previously published a turnover 2022 up by +22% to 16.1 ME.

The specialist in hydrogen production and distribution equipment saw its payroll costs increase by around 6 ME during 2022, as a result of the recruitment of 85 new employees, and stand at 17.7 ME. Other external expenses represent €21.1 million, a net increase due to the Group’s commitment to its structuring and development in industrial matters, engineering and R&D (subcontracting services, prospecting costs, technical expertise) .

Net cash consumption amounted to -41.7 ME during the 2022 financial year and the group had cash of 135.5 ME as of December 31, 2022. The level of its backlog and the continued ramp-up of the hydrogen market, allow McPhy to anticipate another year of sustained growth in 2023.

As of December 31, 2022, McPhy had a portfolio of signed, commissioned and/or ongoing projects representing a cumulative 45 MW for the supply of electrolysers and 40 stations.

Work for the commissioning of the future electrolyzer plant in Belfort has already begun, with start-up planned from the first half of 2024, followed by a gradual ramp-up with the aim of reaching an annual production capacity. of 1 GW. The amount of investments dedicated to the Gigafactory should be around 25 ME for the 2023 financial year.
