The 2G rule has been suspended in various Mediamarkt and Saturn stores. That is the reason.

Mediamarkt and Saturn have temporarily suspended the 2G access regulation in some branches in Bavaria and Lower Saxony. This means that people can shop again in these markets without presenting a vaccination card or negative corona test. This is justified in Bavaria with the latest decisions of the Bavarian Administrative Court, as reported by Zeit Online. It was decided by judges that shops are not subject to the 2G regulation if they offer basic service products. A spokesman for the retail chain told the German Press Agency that their products should also be part of the basic supply. But one wants to follow the law, not complain and obey all orders of the public order offices.
The repeal of the 2G rule does not apply in all Mediamarkt and Saturn branches in the federal states of Bavaria and Lower Saxony. Specifically, it says on the Mediamarkt website:
In addition to your visit to the market under 2G (
except Bavaria and Lower Saxony
. Because from now on you can shop in our stores in Lower Saxony and Bavaria without presenting a vaccination card or negative corona test. Sample in Munich and Augsburg
In our random sample on Friday morning, for example, it was stated at Mediamarkt Munich in the Euroindustriepark and in Munich-Haidhausen that the 2G regulation still applies here. For access to the Mediamarkt branch in Munich-Pasing and the branch in Munich-Solln, on the other hand, only wearing an FFP2 mask is apparently enough.
According to this Saturn page, there are currently no access restrictions at Saturn in Augsburg City-Galerie. According to this page, at Saturn Munich OEZ it is necessary to wear an FFP2 mask. In Saturn Munich Riem, however, the 2G regulation continues to apply.
