After a double defeat for the first day in LPL, ThunderTalk Gaming has already announced the recruitment of two new players, Korean players who had been on the bench for a year.

Two surprise recruitments for TT Gaming, whose League of Legends transfer window seemed to be over for a few weeks. The LPL team has just announced the signing of two new Korean recruits for the 2022 season which has already started. On one side, we find the jungler Lee “Chieftain” Jae-yub, on the bench of Fredit Brion throughout the 2020 season in the LCK, and who therefore returns to the Chinese league after having notably passed through Bilibili or Vici Gaming. He will double the position currently assigned to cold, another young recruit of the winter transfer window.

Secondly, Son “Ucal” Woo-hyeon arrives on its side on the midlane, coming from KT Rollster, team where he started his career in 2017. He also made a few appearances for a season and a half at Afreeca Freecs then Griffin, before returning to his first team. But since the Summer Split, he was also put on the bench. Looking for a new structure since November, here he is for the first time in LPL. He should alternate with Captain, the titular midlaner who arrived last June.

Recruitments which are undoubtedly linked to the performance of TT in the Demacia Cup a few days ago, the team having won only one game in the group stage, eliminated very quickly in a test competition which often allows the structures to refine the workforce before the start of the official competition. But also, of course, a signal sent by the leaders after the bad start to the season: 4 defeats for the first two meetings. ThunderTalk will therefore go in search of victory in the LPL with a roster of 9 players and surely two new starters.
