Two years after leaving the structure to join G2 Esports then Karmine Corp, Rekkles will return to Fnatic as ADC.
Every year, the soap opera Martin “Rekkles” Larsson punctuates the European transfer window and 2022 is no exception to the rule. Arrived at the Karmine Corp. in LFL this year with the objective of returning to the LEC with the structure, the failure to buy a slot was a game-changer. In addition, the player’s performances have often been singled out, sometimes rightly, by French fans. In effect, Rekkles has not necessarily demonstrated a clear dominance over its opponents in relation to the investment made by KCORP.
In fact, the French structure decided to part with the player this year and authorized him to explore his options. If a return to the LEC was the player’s goal, there was no indication that he was going to achieve it. Having even opened up to proposals for the support position, it is finally at the position of ADC that he will make his return to the European league. Yes, because according to LEC_Wooloo, Rekkles will return to its long-standing structure, Fnatic next year. This is the second time he has returned to the structure after having a short stint at Elements at Spring Split 2015.
He comes to take the place of Elias “Upset” Lipp who will have to find a new team for next year. However, places are starting to run out and following all the changes of the last few days, only Team Vitality and Team BDS do not yet have an ADC. This return of Rekkles will allow him to find the highest level and with the current roster of Fnatic, this could well offer a team capable of playing at the top of the table. That seems to be the goal anyway.
