Mercato LoL: SANDBOX unveils its 2023 roster with Clozer and Burdol

On the LCK side too, all the rosters previously revealed by the leaks are confirmed one after the other. After DRX it’s Liiv SANDBOX’s turn to formalize his composition for the 2023 season in LCK, and a roster expected to do better than third place in the last split in Korea, and the regional final that followed. Unsurprisingly, the names announced by the rumors are all there.

Only two survivors of the last season, Clozer on the midlane and Kael in support. On the toplane, it’s good Noh “burdolTae-yoon, 18-year-old player whose background is already interesting, as he went through the T1 academy before joining DWG KIA for two seasons, finishing on the podium at the start of the 2022 season and winning the regional final against SANDBOX with his previous club.

In the jungle too, LSB chose youth over experience, with the arrival of Kim “Willer” Jeong-hyeon, also trained at T1, but player for two years of HLE, passed by his academy, the Challengers and the first team. Finally on the botlane, LSB signed Lee “Envyy” Myeong-joon, Prince’s sub for one season. The latter having been released, he obtained his tenure.

In personal coaching, Lyn arrives as an assistant coach, after freelancing in LCK and LPL. He will help the head coach Ryuwho took charge of the team from the Challengers last October.
