Hakim Ziyech will not be loaned to PSG, which will therefore not have recruited any player this winter. The Moroccan winger remains at Chelsea.

All lights were green for Chelsea to loan Hakim Ziyech to Paris Saint-Germain. But, as reported by various media, the English club would not have sent documents in time to settle the administrative part. Outraged, PSG filed a complaint. A meeting was held at the headquarters of the Professional Football League (LFP) on Wednesday morning. According to various sources (TF1, RMC Sports , The Team …), the LFP maintained its decision: Ziyech’s loan is not approved.

A 29-year-old winger, Ziyech is a staple of the Moroccan selection, but he suffered from competition at Chelsea. He will therefore not relaunch at PSG, which is closing this winter transfer window without any recruits. His trainer, Christophe Galtier, had nevertheless recognized “an offensive need“following the departure of Pablo Sarabia to Wolverhampton.

PSG had targeted several players in the quest for this famous offensive reinforcement, preferably able to play on the right. The names of Rayan Cherki (Lyon, 19) and Malcom (Zénith Saint-Petersburg, 25) came back insistently. In the end, Paris failed to complete any of these operations on time. And he also did not find an agreement with Inter Milan for defender Milan Skriniar, who should, unless the situation turns around, join PSG this summer.
