Taylor Swift is racing against time to reach the Super Bowl after a Tokyo concert. The Japanese embassy gives the all-clear.

The relationship of Taylor Swift (34) and the football player Travis Kelce (34) are currently occupying the public’s attention to an extent that even reaches the Japanese embassy in Washington. She has now released a statement that is intended to reassure the singer’s fans.

The question is whether Taylor Swift will be able to cheer on her new boyfriend in the big Super Bowl game on February 11 in Las Vegas, since she plays a sold-out concert in Tokyo the day before. Swift has to take a twelve-hour flight and the time difference into account.

The Japanese embassy gets involved

The embassy on Friday quelled fears that Swift wouldn’t make it. She assured in a statement via Xformerly Twitter: “The Japanese Embassy in the United States is aware of recent media reports concerned about the steps Taylor Swift must take to travel from Tokyo to Las Vegas in time for the game following her concert on February 10th of the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LVIII.”

And assures: “Despite the 12-hour flight and the 17-hour time difference, the embassy can now say with confidence that if she leaves Tokyo the evening after her concert, she should arrive comfortably in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins.”

The message added: “We know that many people in Japan are looking forward to experiencing Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. That’s why we wanted to reassure everyone involved that they can be fearless knowing that this talented artist will delight Japanese audiences and still make it to Las Vegas to support the Chiefs as they wear red to the Super Bowl.”

Apparently there was a real Swiftie behind the text – in the message there were three allusions to Swift songs: “Speak Now”, “Fearless” and “Red”. , which were also bolded in the official text.

Another problem: all parking spaces are occupied

According to media reports such as “The Guardian” But the tight schedule won’t be Swift’s only problem. Another could be that air traffic around the game in Las Vegas on Super Bowl weekend will be significantly increased – and most of the landing spots for private planes are already occupied.
