Meta: EPS tripled in Q4


(CercleFinance.com) – Meta Platforms, the operator of Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp, unveiled Thursday evening an EPS tripled to 5.33 dollars for the last three months of 2023, with an operating margin more than doubled to 41%.

The social media giant’s revenues increased 25% to $40.1 billion, while the number of average daily users increased 8% year-on-year to 3.19 billion in December (+6 % to 2.11 billion for Facebook).

In terms of outlook, Meta anticipates between $34.5 billion and $37 billion in revenue for the current quarter, and forecasts $94 billion to $99 billion in expenses for the year 2024, a level in line with its previous estimates.
