You play at the first “Download Germany” festival

Metallica will play their only Germany concert in 2022 at the “Download Germany” festival, which will premiere in June.
A new festival is in the country: The “Download Germany” festival will premiere on June 24, 2022 at the German Hockenheimring. The line-up comes up with a special first headliner: Metallica. According to the festival website, it should even be the only appearance of the metal veterans in Germany in the coming year.
British rock festival now also in Germany
In addition, the bands Five Finger Death Punch and Sabaton will be on stage in the Motordrom at the Hockenheimring. Who else will be there is still to be seen. Up to ten bands are expected. According to the organizers, the “Download” festival is the “largest British rock festival”.
The tickets for the one-day event, organized by Live Nation, cost between 139 and 159 euros in the first price level. Advance sales start on September 17th at 12:00 noon. Over 70,000 spectators are expected. The “Download Germany” is not the first offshoot, it is also taking place in Australia and France.
