Metavisio: Expects a buoyant second half

(CercleFinance.com) – Metavisio said on Friday that it expects a “buoyant” second half after recording a sharp drop in its turnover over the first six months of the year.

The French laptop maker achieved first-half sales of 6.1 million euros, compared to 21.1 million euros in the same period of 2022.

The group explains this decline by the decline in the global computer market and by the postponement of several ‘significant’ orders to the third quarter.

Metavisio reports 10.6 million euros in firm orders to be delivered in August and September, in addition to revenues of 785,000 euros already collected in July, i.e. a total which has already reached 11.4 million euros.

‘The second half therefore promises to be buoyant with a significant increase in orders from Metavisio thanks to its capacity for innovation and the pursuit of its international development with new customers’, explains the company.

As a sign of his confidence in the company, the president and founder Stephan Français has decided to personally strengthen his position in the capital of the company with an investment of one million euros.

At the same time, Metavisio has entered into a recurring financing agreement for its suppliers and customers with a French financing company of up to three million euros (every 30 days or 60 days).

This possibility of financing can be revised upwards every three months, specifies the group in a press release.

Following all these announcements, the title rose by more than 8% on Friday morning in the first exchanges, signing one of the largest increases on the Paris Stock Exchange.
