tsf. The solar technology company Meyer Burger produced solar modules with a total output of 321.1 megawatts last year. That’s slightly more than the minimum target of 320 megawatts declared last August.

As the company announced on Tuesday, with the commissioning of the second line, it can now produce two of the three product variants in parallel and thus increase production. The company also plans to start ramping up a third line in Thalheim, Germany, and in Freiberg, Saxony, in the second quarter. Meyer Burger assumes that it will be possible to produce modules for 1.0 to 1.2 gigawatts in the whole of 2023.
