Michael Bully Herbig: First joint film with Hape Kerkeling comes out in December

For the first time Michael Bully Herbig and Hape Kerkeling can be seen together on screen. The joint film will be released in December.

From December 17, 2020, Michael Bully Herbig (52, "Bullyparade: The Film") and Hape Kerkeling (55) will be seen together in the cinema for the first time. You play the leading roles in "The Boandlkramer and Eternal Love". The film is the sequel to the 2008 "The Story of Brandner Kaspar" and the last work as a director by Joseph Vilsmaier, who died on February 11th at the age of 81.

That's what "The Boandlkramer and Eternal Love" is about

Herbig slips back into the role of Boandlkramer, the Bavarian personification of death. He falls in love with Gefi (Hannah Herzsprung, 39) and asks the devil (Kerkeling) for help. Chaos is inevitable.

The idea for the film came from Michael Bully Herbig's own pen. He wrote the script together with Marcus H. Rosenmüller (47, "Those who die earlier are longer dead") and Ulrich Limmer (65). Joseph Vilsmaier, who already directed "The Story of Brandner Kaspar", was able to fulfill a heartfelt wish by completing the directorial work before his death.
